1973 Chevrolet Camaro For Sale (Video)

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Split Bumper. Most will agree that the ’73 is the last of the greats for the Camaro as 1974 would see body changes and drops in horsepower. This beauty is painted in a great shade of Red and has the classic combination of a black vinyl interior. Power comes from a mild 350 small block that sends power to a TH-350 automatic transmission and back to a 10 Bolt rear end housing 3.08:1 highway gears. Equipment is just right with Air Conditioning, Power brakes, Power steering and a stereo with CD. The 350 has around 500 miles on it since a professional rebuild. The transmission was also rebuilt and has a mild shift kit. When considering a Camaro of this era, in almost all cases, you’re going to prefer a Split Bumper car. This one looks great riding on a set of chrome rally wheels that are wrapped in radial rubber. The car has been frame on restored. The undercarriage still looks original and is not covered in heavy undercoating to hide anything. It sure looks solid and is ready for someone to take it to the next level or enjoy it as is and still be a very proud owner. The odometer shows 72,599. It is marked as unknown mileage due to no supporting paperwork, however we can’t imagine that this one has rolled over. It is just too solid for that and wouldn’t look nearly as nice as it does today.
