Corvette Hits Minivan In Miami Area

Watch an epic Corvette crash here.
According to reports, police detained the Corvette driver for both reckless driving and driving without a license. He was transferred to the hospital along with the other injured people. The three adults and one teen who were taken to the hospital were all, thankfully, in stable condition. Emergency first responders were seen treating patients on stretchers in news footage. This kind of deadly accident has happened far too often. Please refrain from driving irresponsibly if you want to enjoy your performance vehicle.
Although there have been a number of Corvette collisions similar to this one recently, not all Corvette drivers are careless and irresponsible. Ford Mustangs, Chevy Camaros, and Dodge Challengers/Chargers have all experienced similar problems in the past. We’re not completely sure why these kinds of things appear to occur in waves, but we’d really want to see this pattern end.
Images captured by WSVN makes it appear the Corvette involved in this accident wasn’t a C8 but instead looks like it might have been a C7. There aren’t any great shots of the white sports car, and the front end was obliterated in the crash, so we can’t be entirely sure.
The Honda Odyssey doesn’t look much better, the driver’s side door and sliding passenger door both severely damaged. It’s obvious the Corvette T-boned the minivan on the driver’s side, but we don’t know for sure if this was a case of the Corvette driver blowing through a red light, which seems likely considering the damage.
