Video: 1966 Pontiac 2+2 Restomod with 750 hp!
We are unable to keep this special item from the Mundelein (Illinois) staff at Roadster Shop from you. As a Restomod, it is an uncommon 2+2 Pontiac. Built in 1966, the vehicle’s outdated “Fast Track IRS” chassis replaced the original B-body chassis. The car is still painted the stunning original Marina turquoise, and it has a ton of chrome. Of course, the eight wheel bolts and the new rims from the Greening Auto Company are both chrome-plated to match. That’s not all, though. Moreover, the cabin has changed. A bespoke center console covered in green leather can be found inside, along with some contemporary features like a touchscreen and a new LCD prototype.
All of this blends seamlessly with the entirely remodeled inside, which was created by Miranda Built and installed along with a set of Dakota digital displays to complete the look. The conversion’s highlight would come after that. Of course, this is the engine. A Wegner Automotive 376 cc V8 compressor engine with 750 horsepower powers the vintage car’s incredible performance. The video is the best way to see the rest. There will undoubtedly be an update to this story if we learn more about the modifications.
