C8 CORVETTE ZR1 EXPECTED TO BE 900HP TWIN TURBO DOHC, FLAT PLANE CRANK DRIVEN HYBRID
Motor trend has confirmation from a senior executive at GM of many of the C8 ZR1 details! It will be the first ever AWD Corvette! It will also have twin turbos and a hybrid assist engine. The 2020 C8 Corvette has broken new ground and really changed the game for sports cars but it sounds like the ZR1 will change the way supercars are looked at. There will he a lot of “firsts” for the Corvette with the new ZR1 but in doing so, it will bring a whole new level of performance as well.
